Happy Birthday To ME, Happy Birthday To ME, Happy Birthday, DEAR ERICA. Happy Birthday To Me!
This birthday post is sponsored by perfectly free!
Yes, it’s my birthday and the aging process after 30 is not very fun, but I’ll still totally take a day to celebrate me and eat whatever I want! Happy birthday, Erica!
For this birthday, I’ve teamed up with perfectly free, a great food-allergy friendly gluten-free frozen dessert brand. They make adorable frozen bites in different flavors like salted caramel & vanilla, blueberry & vanilla, and cherry & vanilla (the latter two featured below).
These are frozen dessert balls made with coconut “ice cream” and layered in a melt-y, yet sturdy, gummy-like shell. It’s not a hard shell like certain dipped ice creams, where when you bite into them the shell goes everywhere! Bonus, you can easily stack the 100-calorie(ish) four-packs in your freezer! Because who doesn’t want to save room for more ice cream and desserts!
For my kitty-themed birthday party (yes, I’m an adult), I used the perfectly free cherry & vanilla and blueberry & vanilla, to go with my pink and blue kitty cupcake swag!
I used ColorKitchen natural pink food coloring (colored by beets) and new sprinkles on my vanilla cupcakes to match perfectly free bites and my kitty theme! I cracked a LaCroix sparkling water because I’m obsessed and that’s exactly what I want for my birthday – enough sparkling water to fill my bedroom!
perfectly free is only 25-30 calories a bite! They contain coconut, but they are free from the true top 8 allergens, and of course, are certified gluten free. I haven’t found bites like this that satisfy all of my food sensitivity and celiac needs, and it’s nice to have an option for bite-sized treats!
Thanks to perfectly free for sponsoring my kitty-themed birthday party! I can’t wait to dig into these non-dairy frozen bites, and eat my way through the cupcakes too! It’s a meow-riffic birthday! If you have the perfectly free bites in your neighborhood, download a high-value $1 off coupon here!
