The lovely people at Attune Foods sent me three Erewhon gluten-free cereals to review. I used the Cocoa Crispy Brown Rice cereal to make some sugar cookies for a Celiac Disease Foundation meeting. Next up is the Strawberry Crisp.
Let me start off by telling you that I finished the whole first box without letting Non-GFBF taste it. Whoops. It’s so good I bought another box with hopes that he would actually be able to sample it. Still no go. In fact, I’m thinking about just hiding my boxes and not letting him have any. it’s that good.
I love strawberries, always have. I also love love love freeze-dried fruit in my cereal. This one is has many strawberries that are actuallly substantial in size. It tastes like real strawberries. The flakes are more substantial than I remember other flake-like cereals to be (I still kind of remember Frosted Flakes). They’re not grossly sugary like you think of a flake cereal. It tastes good for you and naturally sweet. It tastes sooo good.
Here’s the simple ingredients: Organic brown rice, Organic corn meal, Organic evaporated cane juice, Freeze dried strawberries, Sea salt, Natural flavor. It’s certified GF and USDA certified organic.
It’s 120 calories for a 3/4th cup serving, 1 gram of dietary fiber, and 6 grams of sugar. It’s got 14 grams of whole grains and kosher. It’s also made in a peanut-free, tree nut-free, dairy-free facility. Thank you, Attune Foods!

I really like having this for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this cereal. It’s my favorite of the Erewhon cereals I sampled.

Love this cereal! I eat it every morning. I think I’m addicted.
